IPS Remote Learning Plan March 2020

In anticipation of possible remote learning, on March 18, 19, and 20 IPS will have drive through times of 9-11 a.m., 1-3 p.m., and 5-6:30 p.m. to pick up student instructional materials. Please drive through what is traditionally considered the bus lane in front of IPS and a staff member will take your child’s name and teacher name, and retrieve needed materials for off site learning.

The materials will come with one assignment per subject (math, reading, science, social studies) per week. Assignments will be due before midnight on Sunday of that week (3/22 this week, for example).

Guardians will need to take a picture of their student’s completed work and text it to the teacher using the Remind 101 app or email it to the teacher. If you need assistance setting up Remind 101 please contact your child’s teacher through email. Remind 101 will also allow you to contact your child’s teacher during designated office hours (9-11 a.m. or 1-3 p.m.)

Your child’s teacher will be in touch every day via Remind and email to share information and see if there are any questions about assignments.

This off campus learning plan will be under consideration on a week by week basis, with communication coming from Ingleside ISD on Fridays about the status of school for the following week.  If it is determined that learning will be remote the following week, your child’s teacher will share with you new assignments for the following week via Remind 101 and email on Monday morning of the following week.  Assignments will also be uploaded to the campus website under files.

Thank you for your continued support!
