BSE Kindness Group made birthday cards for a very strong girl yesterday. A young girl in Georgia has battled cancer since she was 6 and now for her 11th birthday only asked for cards. She will be getting over 30 cards from these wonderful students who did an amazing job and had many kind and beautiful words to say. So proud of these kids.

We had technical difficulties with our cafeteria AC today. Once we realized the issue wouldn't be corrected, students were moved to classrooms to finish lunch. We are grateful for all the hard work of the Maintenance Dept. as the AC is up and running again.

Our 5th grade KAOS (Kids Achieving Outstanding Success) party was a success! Students were rewarded today for all of their hard work prior to STAAR in the classroom and during after school tutorials! Students were able to watch a movie, have pickles and popcorn, and possibly an ice cream sundae based on the number of points that have received in classes. Nice work Mustangs!
