Good Afternoon Mustangs — We want to start off by thanking everyone for their patience during this time. We understand that all of us in some facet, are facing difficult circumstances as a school district and community. We know that many of our families are still without electricity, water, cell service, just to name a few extenuating circumstances. Right now, our facilities are still having bouts of electrical disruptions. Our Superintendent has been in close contact with AEP to try and figure out the best plan of action. Ultimately, however, there are still too many unknowns as the rolling blackouts are scheduled to continue. Given the situation we are facing, IISD Administration has made the decision to cancel school for tomorrow and Friday (February 18 & 19).
Thank you for your continued support. We hope this gives everyone the opportunity to focus on their family needs at this time. Stay warm and we look forward to seeing you all next week.
